the challenge
After his Chardonnay won the first place at the “Paris Tasting” in 1976, Miljenko “Mike” Grgich helped put Napa Valley on the map. Today, family-owned and operated winery, Grgich Hills Estate, brings “legacy, cultivation, and passion” to wine country, attracting visitors and wine lovers from all over the world.
Grgich Hills Estate required a website that seamlessly integrated their existing winery management system, Advanced Management Systems (AMS). Users had to leave the website too often to shop wines, complete purchases, and book tastings or events. The website also needed improved user flow and to better display of their history.
our solution
A new website was built on WordPress, a user-friendly platform allowing us to completely customize every aspect of the design without being limited by the winery management system. We worked closely with AMS to create the perfect online solution – an integration with WooCommerce. Users can now shop online and reserve tastings without feeling like they left the website or lost their place. WooCommerce allows for complete marketing efforts to drive online sales. A mega menu makes it easy for navigate the website and various timelines display the rich history of this iconic winery.
